The NRA Is Not About Hunting

This is the last tweet from the official NRA magazine American Hunter before the shooting began in Las Vegas that killed 59 people and left more than 527 injured. In this tweet, the NRA is promoting a magazine-fed automatic rifle with the hashtag #hunting.

The product the NRA is pushing, and the verbiage they put with it: "The SCAR family of rifles has served U.S. Special Operations Command units in the field for some time, and the Special Operations Combat Assault Rifle Heavy finally became available to consumers with the FN SCAR 17S. You can learn more about the civilian-ready SCAR 17S with the video embedded above."

In short, they are pushing a Special Operations assault rifle (their term) as a hunting weapon.  This gun can be made full auto with the addition of nothing more than a $150 bump stock.

Anyone who uses that for hunting is as sorry a specimen as the serial self abusers who shoot canned lions in South Africa.

The NRA is willing to talk about restrictions of bump stocks because the NRA knows hints of restrictions increase sales.
